Rome, March 27 -- The Great 1975 Spring Victory of Vietnam spread the spirit of optimism to all oppressed nations, according to Honourary Consul of Vietnam in Turin and Genoa Sandra Scagliotti, who is an expert on Vietnamese studies. The victory on April 30, 1975 marked the end of the 21-year resistance war against the US, as well as the 30-year struggle for independence and national defence since the 1945 August Revolution, thus contributing to the complete reunification of Vietnam.
