Hanoi, Dec. 11 -- The French and Brazilian Embassies in Hanoi on December 11 jointly held a press conference marking the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement on climate change and highlighting the outcomes of the 30th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30), recently concluded in Belem, Brazil. Addressing the event, French Ambassador Olivier Brochet underlined that after a decade, the Paris Agreement is proving effective, with projected global warming reduced from 4degC in 2015 to around 2.3degC-2.5degC following COP30, though this remains higher than the 2degC target.
