Jakarta, April 21 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) has encouraged universities to develop based on the characteristics and potential of each locality, instead of applying policies uniformly. In a recent press release, Director General of Higher Education at Kemdiktisaintek Khairul Munadi said the ministry no longer advocates pushing universities to apply policies mechanically. Instead, it encourages these educational institutions to strengthen the four pillars of higher education, and proactively adapt to the conditions, challenges and strengths of each region.
