Jakarta, Aug. 5 -- Indonesia's construction industry will expand by 5.2% in 2024, according to a report by Research and Markets - the world's largest market research store.

The "Indonesia Construction Market Size, Trends, and Forecasts by Sector - Commercial, Industrial, Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities, Institutional and Residential Market Analysis, 2024-2028" report showed that the expansion is supported by rising foreign investment and an improvement in business confidence and economic conditions.

It cited the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS)'s data as saying that the value-add of the construction industry rose by 7.6% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2024.
