Jakarta, Sept. 26 -- Indonesia's government has decided to expand its social assistance programme with a total budget of 6.5 trillion IDR (390 million USD), which includes doubling the amount of cooking oil distributed to beneficiaries starting in October.

Accordingly, households eligible for support will be provided with 2 litres of cooking oil per month in October and November, instead of 1 litre previously. Each household will also continue to receive 10kg of rice per month.
