Jakarta, Sept. 9 -- Indonesian Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin has called on the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) to utilise its new warship, KRI Brawijaya 320, to protect Indonesia's rich maritime natural resources.
At a ceremony to receive the warship on September 8, he said KRI Brawijaya 320 will bolster maritime security and defence, preventing foreign parties from infringing the country's waters.
The vessel measures 143 metres in length, reaches a top speed of 32 knots, and accommodates up to 171 crew members.
