Jakarta, March 26 -- Indonesia and China are expanding cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) to promote digital transformation, especially in the fields of agriculture and smart cities.
This was the centre of discussion between Indonesian Communications and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid and visiting Secretary of China's Nanning Municipal Party Committee Nong Shengwen on March 25.
Hafid highlighted that China is Indonesia's largest partner in the field of digital infrastructure, adding that this cooperation has supported connectivity to remote areas of Indonesia through 4G and 5G technology, contributing to promoting comprehensive digital transformation.
