Hung Yen, Aug. 1 -- Authorities in northern Hung Yen province expressed a strong desire to expand friendship and investment ties with Japanese localities and businesses during a working session with a visiting delegation from the Japanese Communist Party (JCP) on August 1.

The meeting took place as part of the 11th theoretical exchange between the JCP and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

Speaking at the event, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia highlighted Japan as one of the province's most trusted and important partners across spheres.
