Hue, Oct. 4 -- The 17th Congress of the Party Organisation of Hue city concluded on October 4, after successfully adopting key targets and electing new leadership for the 2025-2030 tenure.

At the closing session, delegates heard the results of the first meeting of the newly elected city Party Committee (17th tenure). The committee elected a 15-member Standing Board. Nguyen Van Phuong, Vice Secretary of the 16th Party Committee and Chairman of the city People's Committee, was elected Secretary of the municipal Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
