Binh Thuan, April 18 -- A hot-air balloon festival opened on Nguyen Tat Thanh street, Phan Thiet city, the south-central province of Binh Thuan on April 18.

The three-day event is among activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the province (April 19, 1975- 2025) and 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-2025).

At this festival, 16 colourful and variously sized hot air balloons are being showcased. Among them, 10 balloons are tethered along Nguyen Tat Thanh street. Depending on weather conditions, the festival organisers will launch four fixed hot air balloons while the remaining two will be available for tourists to visit and experience.
