HCM City, Dec. 1 -- A mass Vovinam martial arts performance featuring 60,000 students in Ho Chi Minh City has set a new world record as the city marked the 50th anniversary of its education and training sector on November 30.
The municipal Department of Education and Training coordinated with the Vietnam Vovinam Federation to organise the large-scale performance, which brought together 5,000 students performing in person at the Saigon Riverside Park in An Khanh ward, and another 55,000 students joining online from more than 150 schools across the city.
