Hue, Nov. 11 -- A delegation from Ho Chi Minh City, led by Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, presented 20 billion VND (around 800,000 USD) to support Hue in overcoming the aftermath of recent floods.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Loc expressed deep sympathy for the recent losses caused by storms and floods in Hue. He said the donation reflected the solidarity and compassion of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Ho Chi Minh City toward their compatriots in the central region. The assistance aims to help residents quickly stabilise their lives and restore production and daily activities.
