HCM City, Feb. 4 -- The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committees at all levels in Ho Chi Minh City have provided nearly 200,000 gift packages worth about 110 billion VND (4.36 million USD) for disadvantaged people and policy beneficiary families on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet), the city's VFF Committee announced on February 4. During the Tet festival, the Standing Board of the municipal VFF Committee coordinated with local agencies to implement activities to support disadvantaged people across the city.
