Hanoi, April 22 -- Hanoi will hold two fireworks displays on April 22 and 27 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025), according to the Office of the municipal People's Committee.

The initiative aims to foster excitement, national pride, and solidarity among city residents.

The first fireworks display will take place as part of the Hen uoc Bac Nam (North-South Promise) art programme at the F1 racing track area in Phu Do ward, Nam Tu Liem district. It will feature a combination of high- and low-altitude fireworks. The show is scheduled to begin at 9:45pm on April 22 and will last for 15 minutes.
