Hanoi, July 24 -- Hanoi has seen initial positive results in its push for a green transition in the transport sector, reflecting the city's strong determination and sound direction in pursuing sustainable development goals. The municipal People's Committee issued Plan No. 149/KH-UBND on May 28, to implement the scheme for developing a public transport system using electric and green-energy buses. Under the plan, from 2025 to 2026, the city will complete mechanisms and policies to support businesses in switching to green vehicles, expand the electric and green-energy bus network, and build charging stations.
