Hanoi, Jan. 6 -- Hanoi's budget revenue hit a record high of over 668 trillion VND (25.4 billion USD) as of December 25, equivalent to 130% of the estimated target and nearly 38% higher than the same period in 2024.

The figure reflects the strong recovery and renewed dynamism of the capital's economy. Domestic revenue continued to serve as the main pillar, ensuring the sustainability of local public finances.

Notably, this impressive result was achieved despite numerous challenges facing the city, particularly the impact of tropical storms Bualoi and Matmo. However, with a spirit of "innovative thinking and decisive action", Hanoi effectively pursued its "dual goals" of disaster prevention and economic development.
