Hanoi, March 28 -- Cao Pendant Quang Vinh, a French-born footballer currently playing for the Hanoi Police FC, has officially received Vietnamese citizenship, according to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
The ceremony of citizenship conferment, granted by the President of Vietnam, was held at the Hanoi Department of Justice headquarters on March 28.
Expressing his emotions on this occasion, Vinh shared that today was a very special of his life - the day he officially became a Vietnamese citizen. He was born in France, but the Vietnamese part of his blood has always inspired him to dedicate to Vietnamese football.
