Hanoi, Feb. 3 -- Former Politburo member and former State President Tran Duc Luong was honoured with the 65-year Party membership badge at a ceremony in Hanoi on February 3.

The ceremony, which was held on the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2025), saw the attendance of State President Luong Cuong.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Cuong presented the badge to Luong, recognising his remarkable contributions to the Party and the nation's revolutionary cause.

President Cuong affirmed that that this is not only an honour for Luong and his family but also a source of pride for the Party organisations and party cell where he has served.
