Bangkok, Feb. 12 -- Thailand welcomed more than 4 million international visitors from January 1 to February 8, according to the latest update by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. In an update issued on February 10, the ministry said Thailand recorded 4,185,291 foreign tourist arrivals during the period, down 10.77%, generating an estimated 207.06 billion THB (6.65 billion USD) in revenue. The five largest source markets for Thailand's tourism were China (569,987 arrivals), Malaysia (377,860), Russia (340,618), India (285,767) and the Republic of Korea (RoK) (207,357).
