Hanoi, July 23 -- Several hazardous weather patterns are forecast across northern and north-central Vietnam from July 23 - 25, with a high risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes in Son La, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An provinces, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
The disaster risk warning level for flash floods, landslides, and ground subsidence due to heavy rains and flows is rated at level 1, except in Nghe An, where it is raised to level 2.
