Khanh Hoa, March 11 -- A fisherman from central Quang Ngai province was given emergency treatment for severe respiratory distress at the Song Tu Tay island infirmary in Truong Sa distrct, the south central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on March 11, after falling ill while fishing at sea.

The incident began on March 9, when Pham Van, a crew member aboard fishing vessel QNg 92909TS, owned by Le Thang Xin from Quang Ngai, suffered sudden breathing difficulties. The vessel was operating about 50 nautical miles north of Song Tu Tay island at that time. He later fell into a coma, experienced seizures, and showed signs of cyanosis.
