Jakarta, June 19 -- The Indonesian capital Jakarta has been officially designated as a regional operational hub for the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) covering Southeast and East Asia.

The announcement was made following the signing of a Host Country Agreement (HCA) between President of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Erick Thohir and FIFA President Gianni Infantino on June 17, during the 2025 FIFA Executive Football Summit in Miami, the US.

According to Thohir, the new FIFA Hub in Jakarta will not only support football development in Indonesia but also serve as a coordination centre for 21 football associations across Southeast and East Asia.
