Vientiane, Dec. 3 -- The investment cooperation project developing Terminals 1, 2 and 3 at Vung Ang Port, with Terminal 3 recently inaugurated, stands as a vivid testament to the Vietnamese Party, Government and people's policy of supporting Laos to gain access to the sea.

So said Vietnam's Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh and Laos' Minister of Public Works and Transport Leklay Sivilay during a working session in Vientiane on December 2.

Minh proposed that building on the success of the Vung Ang Port cooperation project, Laos should further develop an integrated transport system, giving priority to road connections to Vietnam's central coastal ports, including Vung Ang.
