Binh Phuoc, May 16 -- An initiative to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated housing in the southeastern province of Binh Phuoc has officially met its target on April 30, bringing tangible change and optimism for locals, particularly among those residing in border areas. In Thac Dai village, located in the border district of Bu Gia Map, nearly 75% of the population are ethnic minorities, mainly from the S'tieng community. Most households face severe economic hardship, and the village recorded the highest number of substandard homes replaced, 10 in total.
