Hanoi, May 19 -- The United Left Movement (MIU) Party of the Dominican Republic has held a flower-laying ceremony at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh within the square bearing his name in the city of Santo Domingo Este, Santo Domingo province, to celebrate the 135th birth anniversary of the late leader of the Vietnamese revolution. The solemn ceremony, presided over by MIU General Secretary Miguel Mejia, featured the laying of flowers, followed by the national anthems of the Dominican Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, as well as the traditional song of the MIU Party.
