Hanoi, Feb. 3 -- Domestic airports served almost 3.6 million passengers during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday from January 24 to February 2, up 16% over the same period last year, reported the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).
Notably, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City served approximately 1.38 million passengers while Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi processed around 900,000 passengers, and Da Nang International Airport in central Da Nang city handled over 381,000 passengers, respectively rising 7.6%, 12%, and 26%.
