Saint Petersburg, June 21 -- Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long attended the plenary session of the 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 28) in Russia on June 20 and had a range of bilateral activities on the sidelines of the event. The forum drew the attendance of nearly 20,000 delegates from 140 countries and territories, marking a 20% increase compared to 2024. On the sidelines of the forum, Long held meetings with leaders of several major Russian corporations currently investing or seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam, including Gazprom, AFK Sistema, and Zarubezhneft.
