Ben Tre, May 8 -- The Ministry of National Defence on May 7 officially handed over 100 "Great Solidarity" houses to disadvantaged families in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre, at a ceremony held in Mo Cay Bac district.

The houses were built for poor, near-poor, and policy beneficiary families in urgent need of housing in the districts of Mo Cay Bac and Giong Trom. The initiative aims to improve their living conditions, helping them stabilise their lives and focus on work and production.

According to Tran Van Trung, Deputy Director of Ben Tre's Department of Construction, the construction was completed on schedule, meeting both safety and quality standards.
