Da Nang, Feb. 19 -- The People's Committee of the central coastal city of Da Nang has announced that the first phase of its 2025 drive to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing will address 1,140 houses of this kind, of which 212 will be rebuilt.

According to the municipal authorities' freshly issued decision, the responsible units must complete the house construction and repairs for eligible households before May 1.

The beneficiaries of this initiative include families of people who rendered service to the nation, poor and near-poor households, and those who lack the means to build or repair their homes.
