Hanoi, Feb. 28 -- The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) transferred its responsibility of ensuring cybersecurity to the Ministry of Public Security (MoPS) during a ceremony held in Hanoi on February 28.
Under the new arrangement, the MoPS will oversee 10 administrative procedures spanning three public services. These include issuing, reissuing, renewing, amending, and supplementing business permits for cybersecurity products and services; managing import permits for cybersecurity products; and issuing certificates for domain names.
