Hanoi, May 27 -- State President Luong Cuong on May 27 sent a message of congratulations to Nicusor Dan on his election as President of Romania.

Nicusor Dan, 55, won the Romanian presidential election on May 18 with over 54% of the vote. He was officially sworn in as President of the European country on May 26./.
