Beijing, Feb. 10 -- China will implement a visa-free policy for tour groups from ASEAN countries entering Xishuangbanna, a popular tourist destination in the country's southwestern Yunnan province, according to the National Immigration Administration of China (NIA).
The policy went into effect from February 10. Accordingly, tourist groups from 10 ASEAN countries holding ordinary passports and organised by Chinese travel agencies can enter Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport, Mohan Railway Port and Mohan Land Port without having to apply for a visa for up to six days.
