Havana, April 27 -- On the occasion of Vietnam's 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025), Canal Caribe, a television channel in Cuba, broadcast a special report honouring the historic significance of Vietnam's national reunification and underlining the enduring lesson of national solidarity.
Opening with the images of Ho Chi Minh City adorned with flags and flowers in celebration, the report captured the city's festive spirit as it prepared to mark five decades since the North and South were reunified.
Reporter Wilmer Rodriguez Fernandez noted that the city, named after the late Vietnamese leader, was filled with joy and pride on this historic occasion.
