Phnom Penh, Dec. 5 -- Cambodia will pilot a policy granting visa exemption for Chinese citizens from June 15 to October 15, 2026, the Ministry of Tourism announced on December 3.
The exemption allows a 14-day stay during the four-month pilot, without requiring any application or fees. The completion of an e-arrival card upon entry is still required. During the pilot period, Chinese tourists can enter Cambodia multiple times.
Thourn Sinan, Chairman of the Pacific Asia Travel Association Cambodia Chapter, welcomed the move, saying it would attract more Chinese tourists, businesspeople and investors to Cambodia.
China is the third biggest source of foreign holidaymakers to the Southeast Asian country after Thailand and Vietnam.
