Kuala Lumpur, July 28 -- Leaders of Cambodia and Thailand met in Malaysia on July 28 to discuss a ceasefire following a five-day conflict between the two countries.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim mediated and chaired the meeting at his residence.
The meeting was attended by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and Acting Thai Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai, along with US Ambassador to Malaysia Edgard D. Kagan and Chinese Ambassador Ouyang Yujing. The main objective of the meeting was to secure an immediate ceasefire.
