Ca Mau, March 12 -- The southernmost province of Ca Mau is stepping up efforts to eliminate substandard housing, aiming for basic completion by the end of June 2025.
On March 11, Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau provincial People's Committee, led a working delegation to inspect the programme in Thoi Binh district.
Vice Chairman of the Thoi Binh People's Committee Tran Minh Nhan reported that the district has 725 makeshift and dilapidated houses listed under the programme - 619 needing new constructions and 106 requiring repairs.
