Binh Thuan, May 22 -- The south-central province of Binh Thuan has stepped up efforts to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses, aiming to complete all planned repairs and new builds for poor and near-poor households by June 30, 2025, according to the provincial steering committee.

As of May 21, authorities had supported 824 out of 971 eligible households, including the complete delivery of 188 homes for people with meritorious service to the revolution. In total, 355 homes have been built and 469 repaired, using over 33 billion VND (1.3 million USD) in funds.
