Hanoi, Feb. 13 -- Bamboo Airways recorded the highest on-time performance (OTP) among Vietnamese airlines in January, which coincided with the peak Lunar New Year (Tet) travel season, with 84.3% of its flights departing on schedule, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV). The average OTP across Vietnam's aviation industry in January 2025 stood at 60%, down 7.7 percentage points from February 2024, when the previous Tet was observed, the CAAV's preliminary data show. Airlines that outperformed the industry average included Pacific Airlines (74.9%), Vietnam Airlines (69%), and VASCO (68.5%).
