Hanoi, June 9 -- BAF Vietnam Agricultural Joint Stock has sent a document to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, proposing that it will build two 6-storey pig farming complexes in the southern province of Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc, its Deputy Director General Nguyen Van Minh said.
Accordingly, the first project located in Tan Chau district, Tay Ninh, with a scale of 64,000 breeding sows, is expected to produce 1.6 million pigs annually while the second project in Dong Phu district of Binh Phuoc with a scale of 20,000 sows is expected to produce 500,000 pigs a year.
Under these two projects, pigs will be raised in a multi-storey model by Muyuan Group - the largest pig breeding company in China.
