Bac Lieu, Feb. 26 -- The southern province of Bac Lieu on February 25 handed over 100 newly built homes to struggling fishing families, low-income, and near-poor households, marking a significant step in its ongoing efforts to improve living conditions for disadvantaged communities.
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu announced that by October 2025, the province aims to complete the construction and renovation of 2,883 houses for revolution contributors, 1,760 for low-income and near-poor households, and 176 for ethnic minority families.
