Bac Giang, Feb. 14 -- The northern province of Bac Giang is focusing on the development of its distinctive agricultural products by establishing concentrated and specialised production zones, some 479 so far, according to Phan The Tuan, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

Tuan said that the province has successfully implemented a "digital map of concentrated and specialised production areas for key agricultural products and high-tech agriculture" in line with its planning for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050, aiming to turn itself a national agricultural hub, leading the northern region by 2030.

For rice, by 2030, the province aims to develop around 48,748 hectares, with 36,555 hectares under strict protection....
