Canberra, Sept. 19 -- A high-level delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the CPV's Central Committee, and head of the committee's Commission for Information, Education, and Mass Mobilisation, met with Australian Governor-General Sam Mostyn and Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory Andrew Barr in Canberra on September 19.
They also held working sessions with the First Assistant Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and leaders of the Australian National University.
