Vientiane, Aug. 19 -- Pasaxon, the official organ of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, on August 18 published an article celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's August Revolution (August 19), hailing its success as a driving force for national development ever since.
The article took a trip down memory lane, recalling how, eight decades ago, the Vietnamese people overthrew foreign invaders in a landmark victory that handed power back to the masses.
