Kuala Lumpur, Oct. 4 -- The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is expected to introduce a Training Module for Combating Fake News regarding the safe and responsible use of social media in the Kuala Lumpur Declaration during the 47th ASEAN Summit and related Summits in late October.
Malaysian Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said at the Seminar on Developing Training Module for Combating Fake News in ASEAN 2025, the initiative aims to assist ASEAN member states in tackling fake news, misinformation, malinformation, and disinformation.
