Hanoi, May 28 -- Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his belief that ASEAN will deliver tangible outcomes at its upcoming Summit scheduled for October.
Speaking at a press conference following the conclusion of the 46th ASEAN Summit and related meetings on May 27, PM Anwar attributed his optimism to the ongoing discussions and an unprecedented level of commitment demonstrated by member states during the summit. He noted that much of the groundwork for the next summit had already been laid, paving the way for concrete regional results.
