Kuala Lumpur, April 25 -- The 33rd ASEAN Social-Cultural Community (ASCC) Council Meeting and related sessions wrapped up in Malaysia on April 25, identifying five priority areas in the ASCC's strategic plan and endorsing three additional plans for approval at the 46th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur in May.

A Vietnamese delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang, attended the event.

The priority areas include arts and culture, health, youth and sports, artificial intelligence (AI), digitalisation and green jobs, and climate action.

The 33rd ASCC Council Meeting and related session drew senior officials from ASEAN member states, with Timor-Leste serving as an observer.
