Beijing, June 12 -- Seven projects with total value of over 3.1 billion USD were signed at the 2025 China (Guangdong)-ASEAN Trade Promotion and Supply Chain Cooperation Conference held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on June 10. The most noticeable is a nickel-cobalt project of Guangdong Guangxin Holding Group Ltd. in Indonesia with total investment of 2 billion USD. The project is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2026, aiming to ensure a stable supply of nickel for the global new energy battery industry.
