Kuala Lumpur, July 28 -- The ASEAN Foreign Ministers have urged Thailand and Cambodia to implement an immediate ceasefire over the ongoing border dispute between the two countries. They also called on both sides to return to the negotiating table and refrain from taking any actions that may undermine peace efforts. In the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Statement on Thailand - Cambodia Border Dispute released on July 27, they expressed their deep concern over the ongoing situation which has resulted in an increasing number of casualties on both sides, and destruction of public properties, as well as displacement of a large number of people along the border areas.
