Phnom Penh, April 25 -- The 24th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Climate Outlook Forum was convened in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, on April 24, focusing on heatwaves and public health.

The forum took place in the context that many countries in the bloc are suffering from negative impacts of climate change. It was attended by climate experts from ASEAN member states and representatives from the World Meteorological Organisation, ASEAN Specialised Meteorological Centre, and Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System, among others.
