Hanoi, Aug. 15 -- An art exhibition to honour generations of contributors to national independence began at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi on August 15, part of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2). In his opening remarks, Nguyen Anh Minh, Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, said the exhibition showcases 80 works created between 1947 and 1986, which used various materials such as oil paint, lacquer, silk, paper, wood, and plaster.
